It is great to see up and coming artists from South Florida (especially from Miami) getting some shine. Let me introduce to you guys a great Hip-Hop artist that goes by the name of Vurn. I came upon Vurn after seeing his new mixtape, Elevation, being mentioned around Twitter, I went ahead and checked out what the mixtape was all about. 

After several listens, I have to say that Elevation is a solid project. The content in the music is borderline, social conscious and limelight rap. On the production side, everything seems to be original music (with the exception of “Feel Alright” and “Scorsese”) which makes the mixtape sound even better. Some of the stand out tracks are “Escargot,” “Feel Alright,” “Beautiful Life,” “More More More” and “Elevation,” to name a few. Overall, Vurn has a great project in hand and I hope to hear more music from him.
