After taking three years off from his last album, The Beauty Created (which is the most played album according to my iTunes), to travel and perform around the world, Jesse Boykins III gives us this masterpiece, that being Way Of A Wayfarer EP. The EP was inspired by all the moments that JB3 has lived through these past few years and by electro/hip-hop producer Gold Panda, who produced the majority of the songs. Boykins also produced one of my favorite tracks titled, “Zoner (Demo).”

Way Of A Wayfarer sounds like nothing you have heard from Jesse. The sounds are vastly experimental. When I saw the production credits, I got a little worried of how the EP was going Gold Panda and Jesse would sound together. Once I began to listening, that uneasy feeling had gone away. The production fit perfectly with Jesse’s astounding voice.
