When talking about Kanye West, I always get very protective. Yes, he is nouveau riche at its worst, but let’s be honest … he is, whether you feel the need to accept it or not, a growing fashion icon and an amazing artist.

Many argue that he is classless and disgusting. Those people speak as  though they personally know him. Sure, he’s done a handful of things that have made it straight to page 6, get over it. 

I say he is a growing fashion icon because the man can wear something, be photographed in it, and within days young men and women will be sporting the same look. His dent in pop culture and the fashion world is deep, but his impact on hip hop and the music industry alone is deeper. People talk about the dude like he’s Miley Cyrus on a stripper pole.
