QuESt - “Ten Cent Pistol”

QuESt and CrookedEngine link up with 2DopeBoyz to deliver a four-part videos series of freestyles. In the first part we have QuESt going over The Black Keys’ “Ten Cent Pistol” and making a track of his own. The four-tracks won’t be featured in QuESt’s highly anticipated album, Fear Not Failure. NeoPopSicle - “Awake”

I have the pleasure to present to you the first video from one of my favorite up-and-coming artists NeoPopSicle. “Awake” was one of the singles from theLupENDblog’s mixtape: Dreaming Awake. Johnny Walker did an amazing job capturing the essence of the track.

It is great to finally see Neo in a video, I have been waiting for this moment for a while now. Eye candy status I must say. Here is what Neo had to say:

Awake is about being with someone who’s resistant to fall in love because of a past relationship gone bad. Love is never ending and we find ourselves falling in and and out throughout our lives. We shouldn’t be afraid of the process but embrace it instead. - NeO

QuESt - “Something To Prove” (Feat. Mickey Factz)

John Q decided to drop the visuals from his first single, “Something To Prove,” off his upcoming album, Fear Not Failure. ”Something To Prove” features The Bronx own’s Mickey Factz, who is gearing up to release his upcoming project Mickey Mau5. This is great look for QuESt, whose NEATO mindset seems to be paying off. Fear Not Failure is set to drop early 2012. Enjoy!

Jesse Boykins III - “Light To Dark” (A Film by Street Etiquette)

Joshua Kissi from Street Etiquette decided to challenge himself and direct his (and my) favorite track from Jesse Boykins III’s latest EP Way of Wayfarer, “Light To Dark.” I believe Joshua did an amazing job capturing the essence of the song, especially for his first time directing a music video. Jesse and Joshua are the true definition of artists.

Head over to Street Etiquette for read a more extensive read on how the video came about.

After a couple of fan videos, we finally get an official video from Abel. This time we get a cut from Tesfaye’s first offering, House of Balloons. Abel takes us through a world that’s falling apart after being betrayed by the woman he loves. Check out the Mikael Colombu directed video.

Close Up and Private - “Trust The Classics”

As most of you guys know or may not know, Close Up and Private is one of my favorite websites. The video shows the creative capacity that Sergie and his team have. Mr. Sviatchenko creatively goes through his list of “etiquette for the modern classicist,” which they described as “a loosely compiled list of scrupulous style cues for gentlemen.” Sergie and Nello Russo have not only created a work of art but they keep pushing artists’ creative boundaries.
